O Brasil registrou nesta quinta-feira, 8, um novo recorde de mortes em decorrência da covid-19, com 4.249 óbitos nas últimas 24 horas, e 86.652 novas infecções, de acordo com o levantamento do Conselho Nacional de Secretários de Saúde (Conass) divulgado nesta quinta-feira, 8.

Com isso, o País acumula 13.279.857 de casos confirmados e 345 025 óbitos desde o início da pandemia.

O levantamento do Conass é feito a partir da compilação de dados das secretarias de Saúde dos 26 Estados e do Distrito Federal.
