Covid-19: Butantan entrega mais 2 milhões de doses de vacina

O Instituto Butantan entregou, nesta sexta-feira (3/9), mais 2 milhões de doses da vacina CoronVac contra a Covid-19. Com esse lote, o instituto chegou às 94,8 milhões de doses disponibilizadas ao Programa Nacional de Imunizações (PNI).

O Butantan deve finalizar ainda este mês as entregas previstas no segundo contrato com o Ministério da Saúde, que totalizam 100 milhões de doses do imunizante desenvolvido em parceria com o laboratório chinês Sinovac.

Foram assinados dois termos com o governo federal, um que previa o fornecimento de 46 milhões de doses, finalizado em maio, e o segundo, em andamento, que contratou mais 54 milhões de doses.
