Estátua de Borba Gato, em São Paulo, arde em chamas

Até agora não se sabem quem foram os responsáveis pelo ato de vandalismo

A histórica estátua do bandeirante Borba Gato, localizada na avenida Santo Amaro, na cidade de São Paulo, foi incendiada no início da tarde deste sábado (21/07), durante protestos de populares.

Por volta das 14h30 começaram a circular vídeos nas redes sociais em que se vê o fogo incandescente e a estátua ardendo em chamas, enquanto populares gritam que o bandeirantes “era assassino”.

Nas imagens mostradas no vídeo, verifica-se que no pé da estátua foram colocados pneus velhos. Ainda não há informações de quem seriam os responsáveis pelo ato de vandalismo. Ou como o ato foi planejado.
