Fiocruz entrega 3,9 milhões de doses da AstraZeneca nesta sexta (20)

Com essa nova remessa, Fiocruz atinge a marca de 88,4 milhões imunizantes entregues

A Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz) entrega, nesta sexta-feira (20/8), mais 3,9 milhões de doses da vacina contra Covid-19 da AstraZeneca ao Programa Nacional de Imunizações (PNI). O imunizante é produzido no Instituto de Tecnologia em Imunobiológicos (Bio-Manguinhos).

Do total de doses, 308 mil são destinadas ao Rio de Janeiro e as demais serão distribuídas aos demais estados pelo Ministério da Saúde, de acordo com a Fiocruz.

Com a remessa de hoje, a Fiocruz atinge a marca de 88,4 milhões de doses entregues ao PNI, das quais 84,4 milhões foram produzidas em Bio-Manguinhos e 4 milhões importadas do Instituto Serum, que fica na Índia.
