Na última quinta-feira (18/8), um homem precisou usar um guincho para colher uma mandioca de cerca de 300 kg, em Rio Verde (GO). O aposentado João dos Santos planta a raiz no quintal de sua casa há 8 anos.

À TV Anhanguera, ele contou que a mandioca foi recolhida no Setor Central da região. João disse em entrevista que ficou impressionado com o tamanho e que todas as mandiocas deram em uma só raiz.

O homem afirmou que foi trabalhoso colhê-las por conta do peso e do tamanho. Segundo João, em apenas uma raiz gerou várias mandiocas, entre elas uma de três metros.
