Mulher é presa após receber R$ 8 mil em notas falsas no Maranhão

Ela foi indiciada pelo crime de moeda falsa e pode ser condenada a até 12 anos de prisão

Uma mulher foi presa com R$ 8 mil em cédulas falsas pela PF (Polícia Federal) numa agência dos Correios em São Luís, no Maranhão.
A prisão aconteceu nesta sexta-feira (14/01). Não identificada pela PF, a mulher se fez passar por outra pessoa para receber o dinheiro, que veio em notas de R$ 50 e R$ 100.

De acordo com a PF, as notas possuíam “características semelhantes às verdadeiras, com reprodução dos elementos de segurança e tonalidade própria das cédulas reais”.

Entretanto, as numerações de série repetidas indicaram que as notas não eram verdadeiras.

Por conta disso, a mulher foi indiciada pelo crime de moeda falsa e pode ser condenada a até 12 anos de prisão. Agora, as investigações tentam descobrir outros envolvidos no caso.
