Polícia Federal faz ação contra lavagem de dinheiro no Rio e SP

Operação investiga também evasão de divisas

A Polícia Federal (PF) cumpre nesta terça-feira (17/5) 11 mandados de busca e apreensão em residências e escritórios no Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo. A operação Enterro dos Ossos investiga crimes de lavagem de dinheiro e evasão de divisas.

Segundo a PF, a ação é um desdobramento da operação Patron, que investigou o ex-presidente do Paraguai Horacio Cartes, que governou o país vizinho entre 2013 e 2018.

A ação busca aprofundar investigações sobre pessoas físicas que mantêm ou mantiveram bens e recursos no exterior não declarados às autoridades brasileiras.

Os alvos da operação de hoje também são investigados por praticar operações suspeitas de remessa ilegal de dinheiro para o exterior.
