Caminhão com 50 animais vivos tomba na BR-040, altura do Catetinho, sentido Valparaíso

O motorista foi atendido e transportado ao Hospital Regional de Santa Maria

Um caminhão de dois andares, transportando uma carga de 50 animais vivos, tombou na BR-040, altura do Catetinho, sentido Valparaíso, na tarde desta quinta-feira (4/8).

Equipes do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Distrito Federal (CBMDF) foram acionadas para esta ocorrência por volta das 11h40. Durante o socorro, o trânsito foi bastante impactado.

Desde animais, 12 morreram e 38 ficaram presos dentro do caminhão e precisaram ser resgatados. O motorista foi atendido e transportado ao Hospital Regional de Santa Maria.
