Um incêndio de média proporção atingiu uma área de vegetação na BR-040, próximo ao Catetinho, sentido Brasília, na manhã desta terça-feira (26/7)

O Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Distrito Federal (CBMDF) foi acionado às 08h48.

De acordo com os bombeiros, toda a operação de combate ao incêndio, rescaldo e vigilância da área, durou aproximadamente cinco horas.

A área queimada foi de aproximadamente 125 hectares e grande parte do cerrado foi preservado.
