Incêndio na Floresta Nacional destrói 800 hectares de vegetação

Fogo foi controlado na noite dessa quinta-feira (9/9)

O incêndio iniciado nessa quinta-feira (9/9) na Floresta Nacional queimou 800 hectares de vegetação, segundo o Corpo de Bombeiros do Distrito Federal.

A perícia ainda não concluiu a investigação, mas há indícios que de o fogo tenha sido proposital. De acordo com a corporação, pessoas foram vistas ateando fogo na Flona.

As chamas atingiram a vegetação nas proximidades do Setor H Norte, em Taguatinga. O combate às chamas durou onze horas e também ocorreu no período noturno. Por volta das 23h, o fogo foi controlado.

O CBMDF informou que, ao todo, 70 militares e 20 brigadistas do ICMBIO participaram da operação. A corporação ainda utilizou 14 viaturas, além de duas aeronaves.
