Juízes de Paz do DF serão homenageados em solenidade no TJDFT nesta quinta (6)

A Corregedoria da Justiça do Distrito Federal e dos Territórios promove, nesta quinta-feira (6/10) cerimônia de comemoração pelo Dia do Juiz de Paz, celebrado em 15 de outubro.

A data foi instituída pela Lei Distrital 3.987, de 4 de junho de 2007. O evento acontecerá às 17h, no Auditório Sepúlveda Pertence, e terá transmissão ao vivo pelo canal do TJDFT no YouTube.

A solenidade tem o objetivo de reconhecer e valorizar o esforço laboral dos Juízes de Paz, cuja atuação desempenha papel de fundamental relevância no Distrito Federal.

Durante o evento, serão homenageados 42 Juízes de Paz, atualmente em atividade no DF, que irão receber das mãos do Corregedor da Justiça do Distrito Federal e dos Territórios, Desembargador J. J. Costa Carvalho, um certificado de reconhecimento da relevância de seus serviços.

Ainda haverá, durante a cerimônia, homenagem especial à Doutora Eunice Oliveira Pennaforte, um ícone da carreira no Distrito Federal.
