PMDF apreende duas aves silvestres criadas irregularmente em Samambaia, no DF

A Polícia Militar do Distrito Federal (PMDF) resgatou, neste sábado (14), duas aves silvestres em Samambaia após uma denúncia anônima.

Segundo a PMDF, durante a fiscalização realizada pela equipe, foram encontradas duas aves silvestres mantidas irregularmente em cativeiro, identificadas como araras-canindé (Ara ararauna). Os infratores assinaram um Termo Circunstanciado de Ocorrência (TCO) confeccionado pela polícia responsabilizando-se pelo fato, conforme a legislação ambiental em vigor.

A destinação das aves apreendidas será o Centro de Triagem de Animais Silvestres (CeTAS), órgão do Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis (Ibama).
