Um filhote de veado-catingueiro foi capturado e entregue a integrantes do Batalhão de Polícia Militar Ambiental, por volta das 10h desta quinta-feira (9), na QR 208 de Santa Maria Sul.

Segundo populares, o filhote de veado estava na comercial da QR 208, momento em que foi feito uma força tarefa pelos comerciantes da região para capturar o animal. Após capturá-lo, os comerciantes entraram em contato com a Polícia Militar, que se encarregou de levá-lo para o seu hábitat natural.

Ainda não se sabe como esse animal foi parar na quadra residencial em Santa Maria-DF, mas o importante é que ele estava bem e foi devolvido para seu hábitat natural.
