Quase 1,8 mil incêndios em vegetação foram registrados de janeiro a julho no DF

O número representa uma área de 3.432 hectares, completamente queimada

O Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Distrito Federal (CBMDF) atendeu, entre 01/01 até 31/07 deste ano, o total de 1.782 ocorrências de incêndio em vegetação, número que representa uma área de 3.432 hectares, completamente queimada.

Somente no mês de julho, foram atendidos 949 chamados, o que resultou na destruição de uma área de 2.180 hectares.

Nesta quinta-feira (5/8), até às 19h, foram 62 ocorrências.

Segundo os bombeiros, é importante que a população adote algumas medidas de prevenção, como não queimar lixo, nem restos de podas em regiões com vegetação, e tomar cuidado na hora de apagar cigarros.

Em todo o ano passado, foram atendidas 10.273 ocorrências desse tipo.

Em caso de emergência, o telefone do Corpo de Bombeiros é o 193.
