A atriz italiana Monica Vitti, musa do cineasta Michelangelo Antonioni, morreu aos 90 anos. A informação foi confirmada nesta quarta-feira (2/2) pelo ministro da Cultura da Itália, Dario Franceschini.

Em um comunicado, Franceschini deu adeus à atriz, que chamou de “rainha do cinema italiano”. “Hoje é um dia verdadeiramente triste, morre uma grande artista e uma grande italiana”, escreveu o ministro.

Monica Vitti teve uma grande carreira, estrelando tanto comédias quanto dramas.
