Wojciech Nowicki superou frustrações anteriores em Olimpíadas e Mundiais na prova disputada nesta quarta-feira (4/8)

Wojciech Nowicki conquistou a medalha de ouro no lançamento do martelo nas Olimpíadas de Tóquio-2020. Com 82,52 m, sua melhor marca na carreira, o lançador foi soberano na prova disputada nesta quarta-feira (4/8).

O polonês superou frustrações anteriores em Olimpíadas e Mundiais. Ele havia sido bronze nos Jogos do Rio-2016 e também terceiro colocado nos Mundiais de 2015, 2017 e 2019.

A prata foi para o norueguês Eivind Henriksen, com 81,58 m. O polonês Pawel Fajdek ficou com o bronze, com lançamento de 80,39 m.
