A equipe da Jamaica conquistou a medalha de ouro ouro no revezamento 4 x 100 m feminino nas Olimpíadas de Tóquio. Nesta sexta-feira (6/8), cravou o tempo de 41s02.

As jamaicanas não foram bem nas trocas de bastão, mas mantiveram o favoritismo da prova. O time foi formado por Briana Williams, Elaine Thompson-Herah, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce e Shericka Jackson.

A prata ficou com os Estados Unidos, com a marca de 41s45. A equipe contou com Javianne Oliver, Teahna Daniels, Jenna Prandini e Gabrielle Thomas.

O bronze foi para a Grã-Bretanha (41s88). As britânicas correram com Asha Philip, Imani Lansiquot, Dina Asher-Smith e Daryll Neita.
