O nadador brasileiro Nicholas Santos faturou nesta segunda-feira (20/12) o tricampeonato mundial dos 50 metros borboleta no torneio de piscina curta (25 metros) disputado em Abu Dhabi. Aos 41 anos, Santos cravou o tempo de 21seg93 e ficou em primeiro lugar.

Dylan Carter, de Trinidad e Tobago, e Matteo Rivolta, da Itália, completaram o pódio.

Com essa nova conquista, o atleta alcança a marca de 11 medalhas em mundiais de piscina curta, ficando atrás apenas de César Cielo, que tem 12.
