Ministro da Defesa russo diz que guerra visa conter ‘ameaça militar do Ocidente’

Ele foi ordenado por Vladimir Putin a deixar as forças nucleares em alerta

Serguei Choigu, o ministro da Defesa russo, disse nesta terça-feira (1º/3) que o objetivo da guerra na Ucrânia é conter o Ocidente.

“A principal coisa para nós é proteger a Rússia da ameaça militar dos países ocidentais, que estão usando o povo ucraniano na luta contra o nosso país”, afirmou à agência RIA-Novosti.

No domingo, ele foi ordenado por Vladimir Putin a deixar as forças nucleares em alerta, gerando protestos no Ocidente. Em sua declaração de guerra, Putin citava apenas a necessidade de apoiar as áreas russas do leste ucraniano.
