Um misterioso buraco de cerca de 25 metros de diâmetro apareceu nas proximidades da Mina Alcaparros, em Tierra Amarilla, no Chile. As autoridades da região do Atacama começaram a investigar nessa segunda-feira (1º/8).

Até o momento, a origem do fenômeno é desconhecida. O Serviço Nacional de Geologia e Mineração (Sernageomin) informou que tomou conhecimento do caso no último sábado (30/7) e enviou uma equipe especializada para o local.

O Sernageomin disse também que há uma distância de quase 200 metros até o fundo e que nenhum material foi detectado lá.
