Uma explosão em uma mesquita xiita na cidade de Kandahar, no sul do Afeganistão, deixou ao menos 15 mortos e 31 feridos nesta sexta-feira (15/10).

A explosão aconteceu durante a oração do meio-dia, dia de descanso para os muçulmanos.

Kandahar é a segunda maior cidade do Afeganistão e fica a cerca de 500 km a sudoeste da capital Cabul.
