Japão executa três condenados a pena de morte

Nesta terça-feira (21/12) o Japão executou três presos condenados no sistema prisional do país. Os homens já cumpriam pena e aguardavam no corredor da morte.

A última execução no Japão ocorreu em dezembro de 2019. Essas foram as primeiras execuções do governo do primeiro-ministro Fumio Kishida, que assumiu o poder em outubro.

Os presos, de 65, 54 e 44 anos foram condenados por homicídio.
Ao todo, mais de 100 condenados a penas de morte aguardam a execução no Japão.
