Lula e papa Francisco se encontram no Vaticano

Presidente cumpre agenda na Europa. Da Itália ele segue para a França

O presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva e o papa Francisco se encontraram, nesta quarta-feira (21), no Vaticano.

A visita ao pontífice faz parte da agenda que Lula cumpre na Europa, nessa semana, quando passará por Itália e França.

Na pauta do encontro estão temas como a guerra na Ucrânia, mudanças climáticas e o combate à fome.

Lula também vai convidar o pontífice para participar do Círio de Nazaré, uma das principais festas religiosas do país realizada anualmente em outubro, em Belém (PA).

Após o encontro com o papa, Lula tem audiência com o arcebispo Edgar Peña Parra, da Secretaria de Estado do Vaticano.
