Navio que ficou à deriva com carros de luxo afunda no Oceano Atlântico

A embarcação estava sendo rebocada após sofrer um incêndio em alto mar, com início em 16 de fevereiro

Nessa terça-feira (1º/3), o navio Felicity Ace – que levava cerca de 4 mil automóveis das marcas Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi e Lamborghini – afundou no Oceano Atlântico.

A embarcação estava sendo rebocada após sofrer um incêndio em alto mar, com início em 16 de fevereiro. Ao todo, foram retirados do navio 22 tripulantes.

De acordo com a Marinha portuguesa, o navio “perdeu estabilidade” e afundou a 46 quilômetros do limite da Zona Econômica e Exclusiva de Portugal, em uma área com cerca de três mil metros de profundidade.
