Papa Francisco pede orações para Bento XVI

Nesta quarta-feira (28/12), o Papa Francisco pediu orações por seu antecessor Bento XVI.

Segundo Francisco, o Papa Emérito está “muito doente”.

Francisco fez o apelo ao final de sua audiência geral, sem dar detalhes.

“Gostaria de pedir a todos uma oração especial pelo Papa Emérito Bento, que, no silêncio, está sustentando a Igreja. Lembremo-nos dele. Ele está muito doente, pedindo ao Senhor que o console e sustente neste testemunho de amor à Igreja, até o fim”, disse o Pontífice.
