Terremoto atinge ilha na Grécia e uma pessoa morre

A vítima teria ido a óbito com o desabamento da cúpula de uma igreja que estava em reforma

Um terremoto de magnitude 5,8 sacudiu a maior ilha grega de Creta nesta segunda-feira (27/9). Informações iniciais dão conta de uma morte e ao menos nove pessoas feridas, além de danos em edifícios da região.

Segundo as autoridades, a morte foi registrada na cidade de Arkalochori.

A vítima teria ido a óbito com o desabamento da cúpula de uma igreja que estava em reforma.

Durante o terremoto, pessoas correram para a rua em Heraklion, a principal cidade de Creta, e alunos foram instruídos a deixar as salas de aula e se reunir nos pátios das escolas e em praças.
