Tóquio tem mais de 40 mil novos casos de Covid-19 em 24 horas

É a 1ª vez que uma cidade japonesa atinge esse patamar de infecções

O governo metropolitano de Tóquio comunicou nesta quinta-feira (28/7) o registro de 40.406 novos casos de covid-19 na capital japonesa.

É a primeira vez que a contagem de 24 horas na metrópole passa de 40 mil. O total apresenta mais de 8,5 mil casos a mais do que o informado sete dias antes – um aumento de 30%. É também o 9º dia consecutivo em que Tóquio apresenta aumento em comparação com a semana anterior.

Autoridades metropolitanas afirmam que o número de pacientes em estado grave é 27 – três a mais do que o informado na quarta-feira (27).
