Vulcão Cumbre Vieja: aeroporto de La Palma continua fechado

A situação do vulcão Cumbre Vieja agravou na noite dessa sexta-feira (7/10) na ilha espanhola de La Palma. Há novas correntes de lava que seguem em diferentes direções. Ao mesmo tempo que se mantém a atividade sísmica. Várias localidades já foram totalmente arrasadas.

O aeroporto continua fechado e a única forma de chegar à ilha é via marítima, informa a agência de notícias RTP.

A coluna de fumo e cinzas tem mais de 3,5 km e atingiu operações de voo na Ilha de Tenerife.

A erupção do Cumbre Vieja, que começou há quase três semanas, destruiu cerca de mil edifícios e obrigou à retirada de mais de 6 mil pessoas de suas casas
