Vulcão Kilauea, o mais ativo do Havaí, entra novamente em erupção

Até o momento, não há registro de danos causados pela erupção

O vulcão Kilauea, o mais ativo do Havaí, entrou novamente em erupção na noite dessa quarta-feira (29/9). Segundo o Serviço Sismológico Estadunidense (USGS), foi identificada atividade na cratera de Halema’uma’u.

A atividade do vulcão se encontra limitada a uma área do Parque Nacional de Vulcões do Havaí, em região fechada à visitação. Até o momento, não há registro de danos causados pela erupção. 

O vulcão

O Kilauea  é o mais ativo do Havaí e esteve em erupção quase contínua entre 1983 e 2018.

Nos últimos três anos, a atividade tem sido menos intensa, mas segue acontecendo: o último registro foi entre dezembro de 2020 e maio deste ano.
