Azevedo e Silva foi anunciado como ministro ainda durante a transição de governo, em 2018.

O ministro da Defesa, Fernando Azevedo e Silva, informou em nota oficial nesta segunda-feira (29) que deixará o cargo. A exoneração ainda não foi publicada no “Diário Oficial da União”.

O comunicado não informa o motivo da decisão – que não havia sido antecipada pelo ministro ou pelo presidente Jair Bolsonaro até esta segunda. Azevedo e Silva foi anunciado como ministro ainda durante a transição de governo, em 2018.

O nome do substituto ainda não foi anunciado .
