Sérgio Camargo sai da presidência da Palmares e se lança candidato a deputado

Ex-presidente da Fundação vai se candidatar a deputado federal por São Paulo

Sérgio Camargo foi exonerado do cargo de presidente da Fundação Cultural Palmares nesta quinta-feira (31/3), em publicação no Diário Oficial da União assinada pelo ministro da Casa Civil, Ciro Nogueira.

Camargo, conhecido por se posicionar contra pautas do movimento negro e por se definir como negro de direita, filiou-se ao Partido Liberal, sigla do presidente Jair Bolsonaro, esta semana, assim como o agora ex-secretário especial da Cultura, Mario Frias, e o secretário de fomento, André Porciuncula.

“Negros não precisam ser vítimas. Negros são livres. Pretos e brancos unidos. Palmares digna. Bolsonaro até 2026. Sigamos, patriotas”, escreveu no Twitter, ao anunciar sua filiação ao partido.

Camargo será candidato a deputado federal por São Paulo.​
